Face Mask Rules:

Until 12.01am on Thursday 1 July 2021 you must wear a fitted face mask when you are in the specified indoor areas in the Greater Sydney and the Blue Mountains, Wollongong and Shellharbour local government areas.

The indoor area where a face mask must be worn are

  • in the waiting room
  • when talking to the client before and after treatment

Practitioners do not need to wear a face mask if you and the client can be physically distant. Therefore, it is advisable that massage therapists and their clients wear a face mask during treatment (if the client is face down, then no face mask needs to be worn).
