Ingestive Therapists:

You must work via telehealth during the lockdown. If you need to attend the clinic to make your herbal mixtures, you must carry proof of your address and wear a mask.

Herbal mixtures can be distributed via 'click and collect' or postal services.

Manual Therapists:

As stated previously, ANTA members working in their respective modalities are still able to continue working as an Authorised Worker as they are defined as a Health Service within the definition of the Health Services Act 1997 (NSW):

"health service" means any of the following--

(a) any hospital service,

(e) any environmental health service,
(e1) the supply or fitting of any prosthesis or therapeutic device,
f) any other service (including any service of a class or description prescribed by the regulations) relating to the maintenance or improvement of the health, or the restoration to health, of persons or the prevention of disease in or injury to persons.

Please note that all non-essential treatments should be postponed for the duration of the stay at home orders.

It is of the understanding that mobile massage is not permitted in any LGAs during stay at home orders.

Masks must be worn at all times by both clients and practitioners. Please carry proof of your address when leaving your home.
