The latest Public Health Order for Greater Sydney, updated 6th May 2021. The part of this order that is relevant to ANTA Members is the requirement to wear face masks.

Under Section 12(1)(c), there is a note: "Premises that are used for the purpose of providing health services are not retail premises or business premises". The ANTA National Council has interpreted this as anyone working in health services are not 'required' to wear face coverings in their clinic.

It is at the discretion of the practitioner whether they choose to wear a face covering in their own clinic, and whether their clients will be required to wear one.
