From 6:00pm tonight, level 5 restrictions are in place for all South Australians for 7 days.

Stay at home requirement, except for the following:

• Essential Work (see below for this industry)
• To obtain essential goods or services
• Essential Health Services including getting the COVID vaccination
• Care and compassion grounds
• Exercise with those in your household

Essential Workers

The following situations are written into the "Essential Workers" section:

• Urgent services necessary for the health and safety of any person, animal or premises;
• Care services for people with particular needs... including "a chronic health condition..."
• Production and distribution of - medical and pharmaceutical products

Telehealth is the acceptable healthcare delivery method available for members at this time. 

If a practitioner deems they meet the requirements to operate during this time, it is their responsibility to be able to justify to an authority how and why they were able to do so under the directive.
