From 12:01am 20th July 2021, South Australia is currently under Stage 4 restrictions. What this means for you:

  • 1 person per 4 square metres
  • Social distancing 1.5m
  • Masks are required in certain indoor places, including health care settings

Closures

Whilst ANTA members are considered to be health care providers, there are some settings that ANTA members may work at that are required to close. If you work in one or more of these settings, you will not be able to work from these locations:

  • Beauty and nail salons
  • Wellness Centres
  • Day Spas
  • Massage Parlours (we are not sure what the government's definition of this is, but this is a business that offers sexual services in addition to massage services. No ANTA member falls under this definition)
  • Saunas/Bathhouses; or
  • any other place that offers beauty therapy/ tanning/ waxing/ piercing/ body modification.

Masks

Masks are required in all indoor health care settings. Telehealth is the recommended consultation method. If you are able to work from home please do so. However, if you must see your clients face-to-face, please ensure you are wearing a mask.

These restrictions have been implemented by the South Australian government on the advice from the Chief Health Officer. It appears that these restrictions will be reviewed on Friday 23rd July 2021.
